When two close friends came together and decided to pursue their passion, they turned the wheel by taking over the reins of a proprietorship concern called ‘Kwality Paper Products’ and that is how ‘Big Five Inc’ was born. There was as suspected, a lot of deliberation to coin a name for our new partnership concern. In the game reserves and national parks of Africa, the Big Five represents safari royalty - the African lion, the African leopard, the African elephant, the Cape buffalo, and the Rhino. Since most of our business interests were centred in the African continent, there couldn’t be a more apt nomenclature. And viola! Our creation had a new name!

Managed now by three partners, we have over 12 years of experience in the field of manufacturing premium as well as economical paper stationery, more specifically Exercise Books. Initial setbacks in the domestic market proved to be opportunities in disguise, for that spurred us to explore the foreign markets. We met with some success there and shipped our first container to Tanzania in 2008. After that, there was no looking back.
